After the Storm, Mixed Media, 15″ x 12″, $295
My love for colors and working with my hands has taken me on many journeys through my life. I have used beautiful beaded and sequined fabrics to design costumes for Middle Eastern dancers all over the world . I have painted on wood, ceramic tiles, glass, and fabric. Carved gourds, wood burned them and painted them. Four years ago I started taking painting classes and finally discovered painting on canvas. A whole new world opened up to me with that experience. I love all the beautiful colors of acrylics and all the textures that can be put on canvas. I have come a long way in four years and feel like there is still a long way to go to be where I want to be in this art world.
