Oil, Sculpture N None
I have a lifelong interest in art, drawing from early childhood and after a career as an auto dealer, started studying in earnest in the late 1990’s.  First in sculpture and later in oils, pastels and watercolor.  My studies with well known artists began with sculptors and painters and I continue to study on an ongoing basis.

I earned early success in sculpture and juried into prestigious shows.  Developed some wrist problems that made sculpture difficult so most of my art is now in oils, pastel and some watercolor.

I create art to celebrate life on this marvelous planet.  My goal is to create works that pleases the eye and the sensibilities of the viewer.  There are no hidden messages, meanings or metaphors in my art.

STUDIES
I studied sculpture with Curt Brill, Blair Buswell, Mehl Lawson, Grant Speed and Jerry Cox.  I studied painting with Don Weber, Gabor Svagrik, Phil Starke, Matt Smith, Barry Sapp and by video with David Leffell, Daniel Green, Burton Silverman and Bruno Luchesse.
