I was born, raised, and still reside near Clifton, Arizona. I come from a ranching family that homesteaded here in the early 1900’s. I have been creating art using different media as long as I can remember. I now teach art at Morenci Jr.-Sr. High School in Morenci, AZ.
I work in pencil, charcoal, pastels, acrylic, oil, watercolor and clay. My main focus is on western art using pictures I take while working at the ranch. Landscapes are inspired from the colors of leftover paint and the images in the clouds. Compositions with people in them are mainly created in pencil or pastel.
