ABOUT US

We began life as the Benson Arts Commission. We decided to take a broader roll in arts community by bringing our programs into communities beyond Benson. The San Pedro River Arts Council was established in the fall of 2009, and incorporated as a nonprofit.

Our Vision is for Cochise County, Arizona to be a highly desirable destination for artists of all disciplines to live, work, exhibit and thrive.

Our Mission is to create an environment in Cochise County that;

• Appreciates and supports artistic achievement.
• Encourages art education in our schools.
• Fosters the growth and development of artists.
• Provides venues for displaying artistic achievement.
• Recognizes the value of the arts to society.

We exist only through the contributions from people such as you. Contributions both in money and effort. The more volunteers we have, the more we can provide to the communities we serve.
